RELEASES on 7th March

Gulaab Gang

Total Siyaapa

Queen

Genre

Femme Fatale in Action

Romantic Comedy

Drama

Look and Feel

Two iconic heroines,
Female-oriented subject,
Action and dialog heavy,
Socio-political theme of a women gang , a by-product of our own society ( not a biopic on Sampat's Gulaabi gang as confirmed by makers).

A comic take on an otherwise serious Paki-boy-weds-Indian-Girl upheaval.
Comic turn- Does evoke a few laughs.
Interesting ensemble- Ali Zafar and Yami in lead.
Real life couple - Mr and Mrs Kher together not as on-screen couple though.

De-glam Kangana - high on performance.
A little melodramatic with a tragic backdrop, it traces an ordinary girl with an out of ordinary dream.

Chartbuster Song

Expect a high energy dance
number - Saroj Khan- Madhuri Dixit creation after long.

Some melodious tracks-
the title track and
Palat Meri Jaan are doing the rounds at the circuit and well-received too.

Yester year's 'Maine hoton se
lagali toh hungama ho gaya' is already playing to the gallery.

Lead Actor Quotient

High - Absence of a Male lead  would definitely affect :
Drawing parallel to Lajja, a female based  script with all super ladies and water-down versions of Jackie/ Anil/Ajay Devgan
was not able to strike it rich at the BO.

Medium- Though Last three movies  of the lead actor have been hits, Ali Zafar lacks in universal appeal and is on his own in this one,  after featuring in multi-hero assignments.

Medium - Rajjo the last relase of this wonderful actress sank without a trace.
An actress who's always considered serious top-end material with a brilliant track last year (Krrish 3's saving grace and Shoot out at Wadala) was
not enough to save Rajjo.

Preceding Movies

While Dedh Ishqiya was a disappointment,
Juhi chawla had fun in Son of Sardar with some over-the-top antics.
Both look top-notch in their different avatars

Chasme Budoor was a hit
and so was Vicky Donor.

Rajjo was a downer and only low point for the otherwise top-notch actress la
